Potography I Installation

Welche Frauenbilder haben wir in unseren Köpfen? Welche davon sind von der Geschichte der Weiblichkeit übermittelt und welche drückt uns die Gesellschaft heute täglich auf? Der geprägte Frauenkörper steht im Mittelpunkt dieser Auseinandersetzung.

Anhand der Farben Rot und Weiß wird in FRAUENBILD der Körper zur Leinwand und zum Experimentierfeld farblicher und gesellschaftlicher Zuschreibungen. FRAUENBILD, ist eine Fotoserie welche  im Winter 2020 gemeinsam mit Martina Stapf entstanden ist. Im Rahmen des Projektes konnte ich meinen Fragen Welche Frauenbilder haben wir in unseren Köpfen und beeinflussen unseren Alltag? etwas näher kommen,  Gespräche mit verschiedenen Frauen führen sowie Literatur dazu lesen. Gemeinsam mit Martina Stapf  entstand daraufhin die Fotoserie und Ideen für eine Rauminstallation.

How does the image of the women get passed on throughout the history and  still have an effect on our daily life? On our daily self images?

Through using  the colors red and white, the body of the performer becomes in  FRAUENBILD  a canva and an experimental field for colored and social attributions.
„My initial interest was the wish to be more aware myself. More aware of which women images are influencing me on a daily bases, and which influenced me in the past, or let’s say being more aware about it. Through the research and the work on FRAUENBILD I could get a little closer, let go of some of them and had interesting conversations with 3 different women . Together with Martina Stapf, the photo series and ideas for the installation were created in winter 2020.“
